Ok, so this is my first post and I'm definately a newbie.

If you're still with me...awesome. I need help deciding between the Toshiba 26HF84 and the Samsung TX-P2675WH or other comparable models. I don't need a built in tuner as I will be getting a digital cable box that has HD decoding already. I'm on a size a money budget. For size I really can't go and wider than 30" and for price I don't want to spend more than $600. I know that widescreen is the way to go, but I'm trying to find the most reliable TV that has the most features. Anyone willing to lend their expertise?

I like both of those models you mentioned, with a preference for the Samsung model. I've seen the 26" Samsung with built-in tuner for $460ish at Best Buy as an open item. I'm not sure if the model is being replaced by a newer model, or if the discount was exclusive to certain stores as displays.

Either one of those TV's is a great value, you really can't go wrong.
