Please help,
I need suggestions as I am seeking an LCD TV that will double as a PC Monitor and has functionality to show PIP so that I can view a Directv signal while working in my home office. So, unlike many models out there that will allow one to input component Directv signals and have tuners inside, I need a monitor/TV like the above mentioned and no longer produced Dell that can also display it in PIP.
My current setup has me going DVI out of my Dell XPS tower into the Dell W1700, component out of my Directv box into the Dell's component in and also composite out of the monitor via a very long standard video cable into my Marantz projection via RGB so that I can view my PCs image on my 110" inch home theater screen (poker).
Can anyone recommend hardware that will allow me to keep it to one monitor on my desk? Also, since I the main use here is for my PC monitor and it sits on the desk right in front of me (3 ft), what is the maximum screen size you would recommend? For instance it seems as if Vizio has PIP capability in its VO32LF HDTV 32" LCD, but that seems too big a screen for a desktop.
Does anyone know any manufacturers that include my requirements?
Thanks in advance,
