I know that we will need a new receiver and possibly a change to the dish as well but CSR's are telling me that after that is done we still won't be able to get HD programming without adding on a "turbo" package. We subscribe to the top 200 package now, primarily so we can watch the NFL Network. We are only interested in HD for the sports but apparently the channels that we watch that currently broadcast in HD we still won't be able to watch without spending more for programming. Is that correct?

That is correct, you will have to spend a minimum of $10 extra for the basic HD programming, you do not get it automatically with your AT package.
