OTA channels are ok.
Big snow storm tonight in Las Vegas, yeah I know, WTF! we got 2 inches and the surrounding areas got 8 inches+, so the dvr can't acquire the satellites, but since I have my OTA antenna connected to the 722 DVR I get to have the HD local channels just fine, at least it's something.
Hope it will be back in the morning.
One co-worker has DTV and it doesn't work either.

Make sure to remove the snow from the dish! That will get your signal back.

Thought about it and I was not gonna bother, I knew it would be melted by 10 am, and when I got back from work at 6am it was working fine. (work nights 10pm-6am)
I live in the Northwest part of Las Vegas. No signal yesterday evening either. My dish was full of snow. A quick blast with the hose (I have hot water in the garage) cleared the snow off the dish and I was back in business. Stayed clear all night.
Remember that the next time it snows in a few years. LOL

Many, including myself when I lived in the northeast, use PAM sprayed on the Dish so the snow just slides off.

Liquid car wax or silicone work well too. We used it on microwave hops on top of the mountains where snow is more common. Pam doesn't hang on too well in the sun here in Vegas. Plus snow here is super rare on the valley floor.

Liquid car wax or silicone work well too. I waxed my dish. Then a week ago, I had ice buildup on the LNB. I soaked a towel in hot water, and wrapped it around my garden rake. Swabbing the LNB restored the signal immediately. In my case, when the 622 is searching for signal, I can't change the channel to my OTA locals. Not sure why.

I couldn't either, you have to turn it off and on again, then use the guide to access the OTA channels. if for example you go from 8.1 to 10 it will search for the signal, so you have to go to the guide to jump from 8.1 to 10.1
