Ok guys i'm thinking of purchasing a Fyre adult tv box and it is not an HD box but they say it has HDMI outputs in which you can run an HDMI cable so that you wont need another cable for audio so my question is since it wont display in HD quality, will it at least display the same as if i were to just run Component video cables? It does have component outs on it but an HDMI cable would allow me to use only one cable since the component cable i have is only red, blue, green.

I would guess that component out shoudl work just fine. Does the unit have an optical (Toslink) audio output?

yes im sure but its just an adult box lol dont need that crisp of sound and mainly was gona use an hdmi cause it has it there so you can run only that one cord but if the hdmi aint gona show even as good as component being the box aint an hd box, then i'd prefer to use the component cable to get the best picture
