Vip 622 hdmi stoped working

I bought my 622 about four years ago. My tv comes in and out with blue horizontal lines if it comes in at all. It's not my tv checked it with dvd hdmi. Checked 622 with av plug works fine other than the picture looks like crap. Any advice would greatly be appreciated thank you

So are you saying it this only happens when connected via HDMI?? What is the "AV plug" you are using that works? If this is the case, it sounds like your HDMI port on the 622 is going bad. Component video (if that works) will give you the same (or very close to the same) PQ vs. HDMI. So I would use that. If not, sounds like it is time for a new 622/722..

NO, he is talking about component cables (red, green, blue) that are capable of transmitting HD and many 622 users have connected. It works well and gives just as good of a picture. When using component you will also have to use optical digital or analog (red and white wires) audio.
