 Does anyone know if there are any HD ready TVs available in CRT (need to keep cost down) that are smaller than 26"? I need one to fit in a particular space?

26" 16:9 models are the smallest HDTVs I've seen. I believe anything smaller only comes in LCD flavor.

Circuit City has the Samsung TX-P2675WHD 26" CRT HDTV for $569. I have been using this TV since 9/2004. No issues or problems so far. This is a great & affordable starter HDTV. As mentioned, CRT HDTV's start @ 26" 16x9 or 27" 4x3. Other options are more expensive (HDTV) LCD or less expensive SD (EDTV) LCD.

My parents have Adelphia Digital Cable with the Scientific Atlanta 8300HD STB. They have a 24" CRT Toshiba SD set in their kitchen. They have the STB connected using Component (YPbPr) Cable, they receive the Adelphia HD Tier. All the HD programming is "letter boxed" on the top & bottom. It is an SDTV, so HD programming is still in 16x9 480i.

Best of luck on your search, take your time (HDTV prices are falling).

Actually, since 16:9 only uses 3/4 of the screen, the res is only 360i applied.
