Dish Network and Cable internet on the same coax

Our home was pre wired for cable tv with the splitters and everything being started in the basement. Today we just signed up for Dish and is going to be installed tomorrow 12/12 because cable rates are going up and so are the DVR fees for the crappy DVR. We want to keep our high speed internet through Comcast.

First question, can I have Dish network run on the same coax cable as the cable internet and then use a splitter in my room for the receiver and cable modem?

Second question, should I have dish pre-wire seperately for the two receivers we intend to have instead and use the existing coax for internet?

Hope this helps.
