My receiver is for 2 tvs but I no longer have the tv in my bedroom. Instead of splitting the cable is there a way to directly connect the wall jack to the receiver?

1 tv on a 2 tv receiver - do I need to split the signal?bank5 12-10-2008, 05:55 PM My receiver is for 2 tvs but I no longer have the tv in my bedroom. Generally, the TV2 out cabling is now superfluous, but the input cabling should remain as is. bank5 12-11-2008, 12:39 PM I have the 322. I connect Dish network and they said that I still need the Separator but no longer need the diplexer. oljim 12-12-2008, 10:33 AM My receiver is for 2 tvs but I no longer have the tv in my bedroom. It is not clear what you want to do,if you no longer have a second TV why do you want do change anything? Why did you split the cable?you should use A/V cable to the main TV(red, white and yellow) garys 12-13-2008, 08:43 AM The diplexer may have been used to backfeed the signal to the second tv. | |
