amazon has a promo now that if you buy 8 selected titles (110 to choose from) you save $200.00 no b.s. I did it and my new sammy bdp1500 has shipped out ! Not my first choice as a blu ray player but for a dollar and change it was too good to pass up! the sammy was on sale for $201 or so ! I selected my 8 bd titles (some on sale !) so for $159.00 I got 8 movies and the player!!( shipped to my door free also !! no lines or looking for parking !!) I LOVE AMAZON! This deal is great for someone looking to start their collection !JUMP IN WHILE YOU CAN! Only downside is limited selection of titles , you may have, or not want the ones they have to choose from. I got : Unforgiven , Superman Returns, V for Vendetta, 2001, Bladerunner,...Sorry i'm not computer savvy enough to post a direct link Just go to amazon look in promos samsung bdp 1500 or 200.00 off with 8 movies etc you'll find it While looking a the samsung bdp1500 it was a little tiny box that said take 200.00 off now or something like that C-YA jimbo

i dont see it either it was on the same page as the 100 off promo for the purchase of four warner blu ray titles which is still there ! sorry I must have caught it at the end of the promo :( Keep checking back maybe it will be offered again !

I saw several people were able to get in on this deal, another amazing Amazon.com Blu-ray special yesterday. It was dead by the time I tried it yesterday.

Yes and that special includes the Panasonic DMP-BD35 and other players that are considered better than the Samsung BD-P1500.

the promo for 200.00 was for the sammy 1500 only or i would have gone for the panny ! a better player ,but I got mine +8 movies for 160.00 !! can' beat that! J
