I am going to have a 'professional' install my new 50" plasma TV over the fireplace in my family room. Anyone have any local recommendations or people to avoid?
I purchased my HDTV and Blu-ray from Paul's TV and they have installation services and charge a pretty penny.....I am considering using them but am wondering if anyone knows who they are and what their reputation is? Should I just use an independent installer and save some money?
I want to mount my 50" plasma TV, need an outlet behind the unit, put the cables into the wall and over to my media niche, run cable to my router in upstairs office to connect my components to the internet, and set up my system to my surround sound, blu-ray, XBox 360 and cox digital cable. I do not have HDTV yet (except the 'free' HD channels that come with cox digital cable) and I may change to satellite but that is a near future decision I still need to research.
