Hi, I'm going to get an Xbox 360 when it comes out and would like to use it's HD features. I really want a nice TV that has great image quality but not too high price, so I thought Tube was the way to go. There's a lot of technical talk on this forum about 720p/1080i and the like but what I want to know is what looks the best. I was hoping for a big screen, possibly 36" but expect it to have SCART inputs and obviously composites and a HD input.

Does anybody have any recommendations, if there are any american TVs that you know I can get here in the UK they would be perfectly valid as well, unless of course the TV is only NTSC, I'd prefer PAL support.

Gaming & PC use work much better on a progressive scan display, 720p.

I know Sammy makes an LCD flat panel for the Euro market, with PAL & SCART.

North American TVs are NTSC/ATSC compatible. No PAL.
