Hi Everyone,

Sorry if this has been answered before. I searched and could not find it.

Question:

If I have my TV set on "Justify" for non HD programs will it automatically switch to "non-justify" when it receives an HD signal/station?

Thanks,

Eric

It depends on your display. My Panasonic plasma does this, but the best way is to TRY IT, and then hit the display button on your remote when watching each type of material and see for your self. Either that or read the manual which might not even mention this though.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have a Panasonic TH50PX80U. The manual does not talk about automatically switching. I'll mess around with it some more and see what I can find.

Thanks

Yes. Check the display (press the button) while receiving HD station. Aspect ratio should read "full".

Correct JBJ. The Panasonic plasmas state what AR mode is being used when you press the display button on the remote. I wish they stated the frame rate also but they do not.
