Coax to Component converters?

Hey folks, first-time poster here.
I have a Sony KV30HS420 television. For OTA signals I have a Philips indoor amplified antenna with an RF out hooked up to a Craig CVD506 DTV converter box. The Craig converter box has both RF and composite video outputs. I get decent HDTV signals with this setup, but because the Craig only has composite or RF outputs, my television sees the signal only as a native 4:3 signal (this means that the HDTV signals have bars on top as well as the 4:3 bars on the sides).
The Sony senses 16:9 signals and zooms in when the signal is sensed (DVDs fill the 16:9 screen automatically).
I want the HDTV signals to fill the screen automatically (without changing the zoom with the remote) and to do this I think I need to get the signal into the component inputs of the monitor.
Is there any sort of RF to Component converter or even Composite to Component converter so I can get the signal from the Craig into a component input of the Sony?

Your Craig Box is a coupon eligible digital to analogue converter box and it is only capable of outputing a 480i analogue signal. It converts any HD signals that it receives to 480i before it outputs them to the Coax and composite-video outputs. There is no converter that can convert the 480i output from the Craig box back to true HD.

If you want to view OTA HD broadcasts in real HD on your Sony KV30HS420 you will need to replace the Craig box with a full featured ATSC tuner such as the Samsung DTB-H260F (about $160 and not coupon eligible)..
