Dear HD expert,
I have 3 Sony XBR tvs (2 brand new 52 inchers and one 42 inch that is 2 years old). I have recently moved into a new Town Home and have already had Direct TV and Dish Network within the first week of moving in. Both have gone through successful installations with good satellite signals. Both Dish and Direct have produced blurry pictures on all 3 TVs and 6 technicians are unable to figure out why my pictures are blurry. I have personally tried 6 different cables (HDMI and component). I even had Dish leave a satellite on the grown while we brought a TV to the garage in order to get as close a coax connection to the satellite as possible....still blurry. This is not pixellation or a bad signal issue. The picture seems to blur people around eyes and facial features along with just about any object's outer edges. My old xbr was crystal clear at my previous location which completely throws my brain into a frenzy. Every TV is set to 1080i and 16x9.
Could it be that bad electrical (ungrounded electrical) throughout the house is causing a distorted picture? Has anyone every heard of such an issue? I have not tested outlets yet.
Please help.
