broadband

I have a VIP622 receiver. I was just curious if it were possible to use my home wireless router in conjunction with the broadband connection on the back of the receiver, and what, if any, hardware would be required.
I don't have a home phone and do not intend to install one simply to plug into the receiver.

Thanks in advance.

I ran an ethernet cord to my 622 from my router, I do not have wireless to it. I have heard that home plug does work. Not only would it take away the additional tuner fee, but you can use DishOnLine and the VOD.

It would take about 80 feet ethernet cable. Is it possible to do it wireless? I am unfamiliar with home plug.

You just need a "wireless access point" to connect the receiver's network connection to your network . . . Just do a Goggle search . . . about $50
