I have 2 samsung lnt-4071 120hz HDTVs. Each with a vip722. One I set up with component and the other with HDMI. After much testing with side by side comparison I've found that the component cables allow a better picture than the HDMI cable. The HDMI did allow a brighter picture but it also caused a noticeable motion blur. Needless to say they are both running on component cables now. I know that the problem is specific to the vip 722 because my PS3 looks amazing running on the same HDMI cables (version 1.3 by the way)
I really think my money should have gotten me a proper working HDMI!

Did you try HDMI from the same 722 on both of the tv's? A real comparison would be 722-1 to tv1 via HDMI and 722-2 to tv2 via component, then 722-1 to tv1 via HDMI and 722-2 to tv2 via HDMI, then 722-1 to tv1 via component and 722-2 to tv2 via HDMI, and 722-1 to tv1 via component and 722-2 to tv2 via component. Then you do the same thing all over with 722-1 connected to tv2 and 722-2 connected to tv1.

I actually tried that first on each one. Then I had to drag my other tv over to get the side by side. I actually have one tv hooked up with both component and HDMI cables. I switch occasionally because the HDMI is brighter. I mainly watch on component because I cant deal with all the blur and jutter for too long. Most people wouldn't notice it, but I do. Bottom line.
The HDMI on the 722 sucks.

I also found out that you can have multiple TV 1's running off one box. It will send signals through HDMI and Component at the same time. Pretty Sweet!
