I wrote something you guys might be interested in...it alerts you (via email, rss, etc) when prices drop on Amazon products. You can track Amazon's price, or the third party New and Used prices.
The really nice thing is you can see price history charts for each product, so you can tell if it's a good time to pull the trigger on that new TV.
The Greasemonkey script, for Firefox users, is also useful, as you get the price history overlaid on top of products you view on Amazon. Like so:
