HD over coax...

I am looking for a solution simular to an RF modulater for SD. Here's the situation currently...

3 rooms with HD TVs.
2 rooms with HD TiVos
1 room can see the Tivo that is in that room and the other recieves the SD TiVo signal from the second room via coax and a RF modulator
3rd room recieves the SD TiVo signal from the second room using the same RF modulator and coax.

I would like to recieve the TiVo signal in HD to the first room and the third room just like I do now with the the SD signal.

There is the posibility of using cat5 (usign a baulm) to transmit the signal (but would that only go from ONE room to ONE other room and not transmit to TWO rooms?)

Is there anything like an RF modulator for HD (to use either componet+stereo or HDMI)?

ANY help would be appriciated
Steven

Possible simple solution for your particular case:

Since it sounds like you only want to send the signal to two sets from a single Tivo, why not run HDMI to one of the sets and Component to the other set?
Voila! Both will be receiving HD.

If you want to send to a third set, how about a switch (which, of course will only deliver the signal to the selected set)?

problem is there i no way to run any more wires (without completely destroying walls... appartment with cement floor and cement ceiling)

The appartment is only wired for ethernet/cat5, phone/cat5 and tv/coax.

Yes, they do make baluns for HDMI/CAT5/HDMI, but there are two small problems: first; they are somewhat expensive ($300-500 as I recall) . . . and second; I believe they require dual CAT5 wiring.

Sounds like you may need to just run the wires along the wall or simply invest in an additional one or two STBs.
