Not sure if this is the right forum for this question but... Do I need a digital to analog converter to receive OTA digital channels? The manual for the 37LC7D says it has three integrated tuners. Analog, Cable and Digital. Right now I'm only getting analog channels. The guy that sold me the tv says I need a digital to analog converter box. I'm thinking maybe I need a better antennae.

Yes, it has an analog NTSC and 2 digital tuners ATSC for OTA and QAM for cable. So you are good to go. What type of atenna do you have and what's your zip?

Thanx for the speedy reply. My zipcode is 33139. My antennae is just generic rabbit ears. I was thinking about trying an RCA ANT1500 Flat Multi-Directional Indoor HDTV Antenna.

You need to tell the TV to look for digital. If you get analog now, chances are good that you will get some digital, but not until you tell the TV to look for them.

How do I do that? I did a channel scan, is there something more I need to do?

Make sure you select digital when doing the channel scan. Not familiar with the LGs set up... We haven't sold them in about a year now at Sears, but like most tvs you should have an analog and digital choice, or worst case just do an all channel scan, it will take longer but will pick up everything out there and then just manually delete the analogs if you have the digital counter part.

Now that i'm thinking about it.... does the LG have a button on the remote to switch between digital and analog? Can't remember.
