Comcast DL Question

Hi, I'm about to get a kick ass deal from Comcast to keep me from Verizon Fios.

Currently I pay 120.00 a month for just Comcast cable, with all the movies channels. So phone Verizon, and cable for me is 140.00 a month

Comcast will give me phone, internet, cable with all my movie channels for 130.00 month.

This is my question, does anyone here have the bundle for 12 months? If you do what is the fastest cable dl speed I should ask for.

Am I pushing it if I ask for NFL network too? LOL

It would be the same, only difference is Verizon would be more a month after the sweetheart period. With Comcast I will continue to pay only 130.00 even after 12 months, and yes they will put it in writing.

I kinda want Comcast to turn me down so I can get Fios.
It's really nice not riding bitch in this relationship now.

With that being the case, I would go with Verizon then renegotiate the contract when the sweetheart deal expires telling them that Comcast is offering you a better deal. With the bandwidth caps and other sneaky things Comcast is doing to users these days, I would do what I could to get services from another.

The Comsuck guy did not call me between 1-1:30 pm today. He was all up in my kool-aid yesterday face to face. I'm about to call Verizon L2W, I'll let you know how I make out.

I'm getting all the premium movie channels.
upgraded the internet from 15/2 to 20/5.
HD DVR for free, she waived everything just about.
I get back my NFL network, Comsuck makes you pay extra for it so I did not have it anymore.
18 hrs of space on the DVR, how much is that in gigs, L2W?

For 146.00 tax and fees included for a yr, and will stay at that rate. They install next Fri.

The guy did call back, but not when I told him to. He went on to say that there is no way Verizon could be 142.00 not including tax, and fees. As L2W stated they have a 5 gig cap. He said I could drop HBO, and something else to make it 130.00. I will write a letter or email telling Comsuck to kiss my LWA!

I would call back and ask for a supervisor and express how upset and agrevated you are over being called a liar and you found the agent to be rude and discourteous and you are going to call the BBB to report them and file a formal complaint

I think he was the supervisor, anyways he left the info on my voice mail since my phone was turned off. Comsuck is going to loose alot of customers. The best thing is not to give them my money anymore, plus I may do what you said as a cherry on the cake, Booyah!

Now I have to transfer my chit off my dvr before gving it back. I wish there was a quick way to do it, but Comsuck disables everything on the box.

Damn good deal. Glad you pushed the issue. Not knowing what else the hard drive is used for I would venture a guess at a hard drive size of about 160GB. I'm not a Verizon customer, nor do I know anybody locally that is, (not available here) so I'm not entirely familiar with all of their equipment.

Funny thing its not stated on their website, and CS does not have that info either. I don't know how to figure 18 hrs of HD, they no longer give out SD drvs. Now I can directly record so that my dvr stays nice, and empty.

Figure just about 9 Gigs. per hour for HD material. SD will give you many, many more hours.
