Looking for a DVD Recorder with HDMI and YPbPr

Hello guys and sorry about the name, it's not mine...

Anyway, I have an Xbox 360 with a HD AV output, the YPbPr Component goes into my monitor. I get really great quality on 1080 (i or p I can't remember) anyway what I wanted to do was record myself playing to DVD and then compress it and upload to youtube.

I have a DVD recorder but it only has a SCART input so I use the Yellow Red White into a SCART connector to solve this, then a SCART into my monitor but the quality is really terrible! I can hardly see anything it's so blurry and dark. The recording seems fine on the big TV and I'm sure it would look fine on a small youtube video but it's while I'm playing it I really need to see it in perfect quality for the detailed accuracy required for headshots.

Summary: So what I'm looking for is a DVD recorder with a YPbPr Component input and a HDMI or YPbPr output.

Any thoughts on the best cheapest DVD Recorder I can get with these input output in mind?

Thank you!

I just found this "SAMSUNG DVD-SH853 DVD Player/Recorder (http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/584353/art/samsung/dvd-sh853-dvd-player-reco.html?form=89#tech-specs)" and it looks perfect, it even has a few nice features I wasn't really very bothered about, but now I see them makes me want it even more.

Sorry for wasting bandwidth when I should have just searched a bit harder. If anyone can suggest something better priced and similar that would be great. Thanks again.

Remember though that this IS NOT a HD recorder. The best you will get is 480.

Yeah that's fine as long as it definitely displays HD on my monitor and as long as it has the Component input, which I'm not so sure that it does now. I'm finding conflicting information and there are two versions SH853 and SH853M and I don't really know the difference. Some sites I look at has Component output only with no Component input which would be totally useless to me.

It won't display HD if it is only 480. That is digital SD. The recorder is SD so anything it outputs will be SD.

You would have to buy a Blu ray recorder, the only thing that records and plays/outputs HD/discs. Not sure about availability or pricing though.

Hopefully someone else here can assist you with that.

What about upscaling? I just read something about that, gonna try find out more info. Also I wonder why it's so hard to find Component input.
