Nah, I'm not gonna go off, like you guys think I would. Just a crazy game. Cassel looked confused.
Miami ran this play where Williams and Pennington line up at the WR positions with Ricky in the slot. Brown is under center and Ricky goes in motion. They scored 3 times out of this set!!! Twice Brown rushed for TD's and threw one once.
Joey Porter backed up the smack talk this time. 2 sacks and a forced fumble.
It's 1 minute in to the 4th Q and the NE fans are leaving.
Yeah, it's only one game, but seriously, it's nice to see, every once in a while.

it's ok. it's bound to happen once every 3-4 years. i mean we can't beat the phins by 30 every time we play them.
I know it had nothing to do with the final score but that down by contact call early in the game was complete BS. the ref blew the whistle way to early. i can't even imagine what went through that refs head after knowing what happened to the chargers last week.
also that punt that landed on the 1 should have counted. i had to rewind the play because watching it live it looked like Slater was knocked out of bounds. after the replay he was knocked out of bounds by 2 player at the line of scrimmage and then knocked out of bounds again by someone grabbing his shoulder pads from behind. that was a complete joke of a call. not only was the guy knocked out of bounds but he was held from behind. all that should have put the ball on the 1.

The Dolphins came ready to play and showed the Pats that they will miss Brady more than they think. They took it right at the Pats and never looked back. Funny how the Dolphins were the last team to beat the pats in the regular season, and now they have done it again. Cassell was horrible and the defense was no were to be found and you'll never even compete like that..........

It was nice to see Ronnie Brown play like that. It's awesome since he is from Auburn and I have him on both my fantasy teams. Only thing wrong with that is I benched him last week. DAMN IT!!!!!:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Remember when Chad Pennington did better than Brett Farve against the Patriots, you laughed at that thought earlier this week. Your football knowledge is horrible.

It was an awful game for the Pats.
I don't think Cassell was the issue though. The defense played poorly and the offensive line just couldn't give Cassell time. Gostkowski was one of the few players that played well. When that's the case, they're not going to win.

You guys aren't that f'ing retarded are you? One game makes a season? Are you serious? Ronnie Brown threw better than Favre (and Cassel) too, you gonna start him at QB ? Geezus, what dumbasses.

We are obviously retarded. We don't have the advanced football knowledge you have. Go ignore some more people and then brag about it on a message board. :hithere:

No, no, no. I'm not taking you off of ignore. UNLESS you want to bet me which QB has more TD's this year, Favre or Pennington. Or more total yards, higher completion percentage, fewer picks, you know, quarterbacky stuff.

Fewer picks?? You sure you wanna bet that haha Even higher completion percentage might go Pennington's way.
By the way: "Your opinion, while different than mine, is just as valid, even without a vast amount of football knowledge to back it up."
Suck it.

Oh, I tracked it down. You are confusing "advanced" with "vast".
In the context of the post I had written in, it was saying that even guys without a vast amount of football knowledge (Matt, You , Cygnus, most Patriot fans) the PC society that we live in allows you guys to have an opinion that counts just as much as everyone else. Its kind of our way to make up for beating you guys up in elementary school.

We are cool, F91, and have been for a long time on these boards. I just thought your "vast football knowledge" quote was funny. I'm not out to make fun of ya.
I think I'm pretty much good with everyone here. I'm a Laker fan who appreciates what the Celtics did. I'm a Dodger fan who can admire the front office of the Red Sox and Yankees who will go out and spend money on big name players, consistently. I'm a USC Trojan fan who can have a friendly wager with Ohio State Fans.
I'm not out to engage in ridiculous debates and criticize people for what they do or do not know. We're all just fans of the game. I do think it's kinda lame that you take an excerpt from what Cygnus said about the Bears MAYBE going 2-0 and use that as your quote. If you read his post, he was saying that it looks like the Bears would go 2-0 and followed it up with what you have in your signature now. There's nothing wrong with being excited about your team, just don't crap on everyone, you know? Take a look at the thread that the Tampa Bay Rays fan created for example. It's just a bad way to go about things in my opinion.
