I was thinking on buying an HD-READY LCD 26" TV.

1. My PC graphic card has only 1 DVI for my PC monitor. So am i going to need to buy a DVI splitter so i can have 2 DVI's?

2. i have no clue about what kind of connections/cables i need. All i know is that i need to connect a cable from the TV to the DVI in my computer.

What kind of connections i need to pay attention the TV has in order to connect it with my PC and be able to watch a 720p movies?
I understood im also gonna need a cable for sound output?

Any help is appriciated cause i realy dont understand much and i dont wanna buy a TV and find out i dont have the right connections to connect it to my PC.

Is your graphics card capable of running multiple monitors? With only one DVI ouput, I doubt it. Unless your card has a DVI and an analog. If you split the DVI signal, both monitors will display the same thing, so you may be defeating the point.

My card is Geforce 6600GT and it has a DVI output and analog one, but i was thinking on buying a new graphic card that has 2 DVI outputs so one will go to my PC monitor and one to the LCD TV. Would that do the job?
