Need some help..

This may be a dumb question but I'm gonna ask anyways. I just got, for free (for buying a bunch of furniture we needed) a 60" Mittusbishi DLP HDTV model #WD-60735. When I look at regular TV (direct TV) the picture is pretty blurry. In the Input section it says I'm using 480p I was wondering if I was to get the DirectTV HD channels, would the picture get clearer? When watching a DVD it's a GREAT picture. Thanks for any help. Any other information you need, please ask and I'll get it if I can.

Yes, high definition programming would be clearer than standard definition programming.
