Which Projector Is Best From These Two ???

Hi - Im from Northern England near Manchester and new to this forum - hope some of you HD geniuses can help me with any mess I get in in the future.

Couple of simple questions first ...........

1) Which one of these projectors is the best, 'Sony VPL-HS20' or a 'Hitachi PJ-TX100'. The price doesnt matter as they are the same and offered second hand and in same excellent condition / long bulb life. I use them in my front room, to watch DVD films, and also my mac laptop through the dvi connector on them both + also my Playstation 2 occasionally and a freeview box with upscaling. The screen is about 3m away - they both look good but which is regarded as best ???

2) If watching a DVD from my 'Panasonic SA-HT855 surround sound player', am I best to connect it though the HDMI - HDMI lead, or through the DVI - DVI lead (selecting 'dvi film' not 'dvi computer'), or through the RGB component leads ?

3) The Panasonic mentioned above has 720p and 1081i upscaling - is it best to select either on the player - I have heard that projectors do their own upscaling - if so would upscaling twice like this have any negative effect on the picture.

4) I also have a Nikon D2000 10 megpix camera which I use for work - if viewing pic am i best doing it direct from the camera ? from the pics on a burnt cd/dvd disc via the Panasonic player ? - or from my mac lap top via the dvi ?

Any help on any of these much appreciated - just want to make the most of what I have got - Im already impresed with every bit of it.

Cheers - Andy

I would go with the HS20 as it has a slightly higher native resolution and better contrast ratio.
