This thread may not apply to this section, but here is my problem.
I have a analog Mitsubishi TV that has three "Inputs" for various components viewing. There's the standard input, and Input 1, and Input 2. This TV was in the family room, which had my C-band Motorola DSR0922 digital receiver, and Dish Network hooked up. I had the cables routed so I could turn on the TV and watch the OTA local channels, and press Input 1 on the remote, and watch Dish Network, and press Input 2, and watch the C-band channels. From this, I ran a coax from the "out to TV" to a TV downstairs in the den. The den TV did not have the "Inputs", but Video 1, Video 2, Video 3. There is could watch C-band channels, Dish Network on the 301T receiver, and OTA locals, just the same as I did upstairs.
When my Samsung 40" HDTV arrived, and I added a Vip211K receiver, I moved the Mitsubishi downstairs with the Dish Network #508 PVR receiver to replace the older TV and the 301T receiver.
I didn't move the C-band satellite receiver from upstairs, and it still works on the HDTV, and same coax cable are the same going to the coax connection down stairs.
When I hooked up all the coax cables...just like I had upstairs. Now I cannot get my C-band to work on the TV downstairs. Keep in mind the TV that is now downstairs in the same with the Input 1, and Input 2. Although, it did work very goods upstairs.
Any ideas what I should do, or shouldn't?
