Slovakia beat Bulgaria 82-0......to top it off, they outshot Bulgaria 139-0. WTF!!!! It was a 2010 Olympic qualifier, so it's safe to say that Bulgaria won't make it (though it would make for some must see TV).

I would say a couple hat tricks were posted that day. My guess is that the Bulgarian goalie was "Little Me" from Austin Powers.:D There are a couple ex Blackhawk golies that also come to mind. :rolleyes:

Not BS. It was a women's hockey game was played on Saturday in a pre-Olympic qualifying tournament played in Liepaja, Latvia. The 5 teams involved in the round-robin tournament were, in order of finish: Slovakia, Latvia, Italy, Croatia and Bulgaria. Bulgaria were out-scored 192-1 in their 4 games.
In the 82-0 game, Slovakia scored 31 in the 1st period, 24 in the 2nd and 27 in the 3rd.
Slovakia advances to the final qualifying round in November. 8 teams will be competing for the 2 qualifier spots for the 2010 games.
