I got an issue, I hope you guys can help.

Recently I wanted to hook up my desktop to my 37 inches Sharp Aquos 1080p.

I got a Geforce 6600 GT in my Desktop with a DVI output, so I went to the store and bought a DVI to HDMI cable. I connect everything, it is working now, the only problem is that every resolution I put its killing my eyes...

1080p, 720p even if I put the resolution to 1024X768 its still killing my eyes. I can put only the refresh rate only to 60h, I'm suspecting this is the problem.

You guys have any Idea ?....

what do you mean killing your eyes. Too sharp to handle? Watching content that is too naughty?

it's not the easiest thing to get a 1-to-1 pixel mapping on an HDTV (as opposed to a monitor which is always 1-to-1 when outputting at native resolution). This makes it hard to read small text. Is it movies that are bothering you? or is it just using the operating system environment?
