I have a 4-year old Sammy HLN507W 50" DLP to get rid of. It is a beautiful TV when working. It still works MOST of the time, but occasionally it will freeze into a black and white pixelated still image, as shown below - (RIP Tim Russert)................

The exterior is in perfect condition, not one scratch. I maybe cleaned/dusted the screen once a year and was always very careful to use soft cloth and plain water. The bulb is fairly new.

I am gonna throw this out if no one wants it, but thought I'd offer it up here. This TV cost me almost $4,000 when I bought it.

I don't wanna try and fix this freezing problem as I can't seem to get definitive answer on exactly what is causing it. Perhaps if you are a techie or TV repairman, this would be a good deal for you and you could fix it for a couple hundred bucks, then have an awesome TV.

I am located in Middletown, Rhode Island. If you want to come to my house and pick up the TV, then you are welcome to it. I am NOT gonna drive 100 miles to meet you halfway or any of that stuff. You MUST come directly to my house, end of story.

First come, first served. If no replies within a couple of days, it goes to trash. If interested, email me at davefra AT hotmail.com. Obviously, you would substitute @ for AT in the emaill addy.

Thanks
