That would be a nice upscaling DVD player if nothing else, for the price...

I just picked up 2 of these at Wal Mart over the weekend for 49 bucks each with the movies in them. I am giving one to my mom as an X MAS gift man I am getting out of X gift buying really cheap this season LOL. The other is going to be used for in the wifes trailer when she takes the kids camping.

Yes but I have not updated past 2.7 especially with the issues I have heard about V3.0.

I have read through the update thread...while I have not had the issues that many have reported my question is will the CD I received from Toshiba work or do I have to go to the venturer web site, for the update...price is even better than ebay..

If it is for the HD-A3 the CD will work on the Venturer player.
