I thinkn this fight is a joke, elite xc will be out of buisness soon, shamrock has lost 8 out of his last 9 fights and kimbo has fought nobody,

he needs to fight a real opponent, if kimbo and brock lesnar(both new comers) fought each other, Brock would beat his ass

I agree that EliteXC will go defunct because their talent pool is so shallow.

However, I want to see how Kimbo does against an experienced fighter. The novelty of Kimbo is wearing off, and when he loses to Shamrock the Elite XC is going to have nothing to create a buzz.

I agree, all Kimbo has done is fight 3 washed up fighters who are way past there prime. Brock has fought guys who are at the top of the UFC HW division. Of course there is really no one in Elite XC that is a top ten fighter so as long as he stays there he will never get a true test.

elite xc was banking on kimbo beating down the last dude he fought, that they put on national television. didn't happen.. in fact if the fight would have went longer, kimbo may have been beat. so if shamrock takes him out, elite xc is DONE.

Any chance of tito ortiz joining elite? He had his last ufc fite. I won't be surprised if the tito/shamrock rivalry is revived

There have been rumblings of Tito going with EliteXC or Affliction (Randy Couture's MMA Brand), but I think he's lost his drive. Plus he is too busy knocking boots with Jenna Jameson, who is now pregnant with Tito's baby by the way.

The Ortiz/Shamrock rivalry is done I think. They had 3 fights, the last one really put the nail in the coffin in my opinion.

On the other hand, the UFC has never been better than it is now. There are no easy fights there and each weight class is very deep. Looking forward to seeing the Liddell Fight!

Man I can't wait either. My first live UFC event. Got great seats, of course they cost me an arm and a leg, but I hear that live UFC events are pretty sweet. I've had these tickets for months and they've been calling my name every night, it's been torture waiting.
The entire fight card is pretty good, looking forward to the Hamil vs. franklin fight.

I think Shamrock will lose the fight and EliteXC will go out of business soon anyway as it won't be a fight that will result in continued interest in the organization's fighters. Neither fighter here will be much of a draw after another poor showing.

yeah that would be great. many people would look down on them simply because they were WWE Wrestlers. the problem is if people knew the actual story of each of these former WWE employees then they would have much more respect for what they are doing now.

Bobby Lashley has never liked being a wwe wrestler. he was in the army before becoming a wrestler and ended up leaving the WWE simply because he didn't care for wrestling. both of them walked were signed to multi million a year contracts and both walked away while making that type of cash. it's crazy to think they walked away from so much cash and many people will still look at them as sell out WWE employees. my cousin is huge into MMA and hates Brock simply because he worked for the WWE. he doesn't even care that Brock was a NCAA champ, tried to play PRO football, and walked away from a multi million a year contract simply because he didn't care for the sport anymore.

i have a feeling that a former soldier like Lashley could do well in a sport like this.
