I could not believe how bad the Jets had fallen last year & their offense struggled so bad when they had such a great Offensive line. I am thinking it was just one of those years & they were not really that bad.
So now with Favre & all that great protection I believe the Patriots have something to worry about in that division. I think the Jets go to the playoffs this year with this trade.

I'm actually excited to have Favre in the same division as the Pats, it should make the division interesting this year watching both Brady and Favre, two of the best QB's in history compete against each other twice in a season.

I'm so stoked about that... and that this Favre drama is coming to a close.

...or you are going to see the "old" brett farve who tries to do too much because of the lack of supporting cast around him (or his lack of trust in the supporting cast around him) and force dumb turnovers. I don't think the Pats are worried. I think they'd have more to worry about if Farve landed with the bills, instead of the jets.

Thats sad. Let add him to the list emmitt, rice, olajuwon, etc....

I guess its a business first but its sad to see icons go to crap teams to continue a career after being the face of an organization. This may be the worst one since he still was playing great last year.

I love the stipulation in the trade that if the Jets trade him to Minnesota, NY loses two first round draft choices to the Packers. :D

the jets are stacked this season and should be the wild card team if farve can adjust to the team offense. it will be to late in the year to change the offense around farve but they can make small adjustments on both sides. one thing is for sure though these two games he has to face v.s. the pats are going to be fun for both teams. NE's corners are very suspect right now and could end up costing us those games v.s. big time gun slingers.

i hope the reports of pennington being cut are true because the pats will consider him simply for the info he could bring. well that plus he would be a very decent backup at a reasonable cost.

man i can't wait for the game tonight.

Now it really sucks to be Eli Manning. All his life he's been in his brother's shadow and now, the season after winning the Superbowl, he still isn't top dog in New York.

I was just watching the news and they said its 3 picks total. Maybe 2 first and 1 3rd or later round?

Way to throw Pennington under the bus Jet's....I love the fact that Seymore will have more chances to knock BRET THE JET out of the game like they did before.
