Sad day for all of baseball. Anyone who has ever watched a Braves game on TBS had to like ole Skip. He was the voice of the Braves for 33 years, that's my whole life...wow. Here is the story..........

I did like Skip, seemed to be the only Carry with brain cells. His Dad was a drunk and his son is a complete idiot. I'm glad the Cubs got rid of Chip when they did.

Skip Cary was top notch. As here in Cincy my loyalty was always to the Reds first but you couldn't help but like the Braves some since we got more Braves games with TBS than we got Reds games before they started the extra innings package.
So my favorite pitcher of all time to watch was Greg Maddux & it just made his games so much better listening to Skip call the games.
Just a great baseball announcer.

Not a Braves fan, but if the Cards were playing the Braves I would always watch the game on TBS to hear Skip. Dan McLaughlin gets on my nerves.:D RIP Skip.

As a Braves fan, it won't me a Braves game without him. I am use to hearing his voice. He will be missed by all the Braves fans that watch SportsSouth. Terrible loss, may he rest in peace. :angel
Crap. Way too early. He'll be missed. RIP Skip.
