I'm looking to sell my almost new PS3 40GB, 7 months old ($399.00 new).

It will come with a Sony BluTooth remote ($19.95) an factory external 3 fan cooling system ($14.95) that powers using the USB connection on the player and the player 6 axis wireless remote.

It also will come with 2 never played PS3 games (these cost around $45 each) Transformers the game and Call of Duty 3.

I'll also send a clear self adhesive stick on protective covering system to protect the player from scratches or damage (cost $12.95) that I've never applied.

I will sell it for $385.00 Delivered.

Let me know if any of you're interested. :D

I forgot to add that it also has a separate external charging cradle for the wireless game remote which cost $19.95

And although, I've had an offer to trade my PS3 for a excellent HD DVD player and it was much appreciated, I'm not willing to give up my Blu-Ray disc ability.

If someone does decide to buy my PS3, I would just replace it with another Blu-Ray player or combo player.

I want to have the ability to view any high definition disc I want to.

I also have a PayPal account so anyone could pay using a credit card if that would make it easier.

Especially since Sony announced they would not drop the price on the PS3 for quite some time, buying my as good as new PS3 package including all the extras and games which altogether cost over $584.00 would seem like a great deal to me.

That would be at least a $199 savings!

And remember this is an 2.0 spec Blu-Ray player, the first one available for much less then any of the couple that are available or soon to be available.

Even though this is a great deal on what is considered the best Blu-Ray player available right now, if no one here on the forum wants it, I won't lose any sleep over it.

I've got plenty of time to look at the new players coming out and see how they stack up.

I'm just not a gamer so that ability doesn't excite me too much and I thought for the members here that do talk about how much they love the capability of playing games and Blu-Ray discs, they might be able to get more use out of it then I do.

That is my only reason I will sell, it looks brand new and I don't use it as much as my XA1 to look at my SD DVD collection because it actually upscales slightly better then the PS3 (although the PS3 does it very well also).

I pretty much just use it to watch Blu-Ray movies.

I just realized I also have a new PS3 semi hard custom carry case that cost $99 that would come with the unit.

So I will sell for $399 delivered, not the original $385 delivered.

So in effect if someone bought this unit they would save at least $284 over the cost of $683 including everything.

Although I really don't think anyone will, even though everyone says this is the best 2.0 spec Blu-Ray player available right now even at $399, I wonder if anyone on this forum really thinks this and is willing to actually buy one even at this savings?

One more thing, if someone does decide to buy it then I will require insurance to be paid to cover the entire retail value.

I will not take an chance of it being lost or damaged (even though I will pack it very well and securely).

So expect a insurance cost of somewhere around $20 or so.

I will check to see exact cost at sale time.

But, this offer only lasts until Monday. :hithere:

Does it play PS2 games?
I'm interested, but it's used so I won't go any higher than $300 shipped, and all I want is the PS3, 1 controller and the remote, you'd have to sell the other stuff separately.
Did you get any kind of extended warranty from where you bought it? do you have the receipt?
