I asked a question on here a few months back and found some great help :bowdown: so I was hoping that someone might be able to help me out with this one:
I have a Samsung 50" DLP that is about 4 years old. Model number HLN5065W1X/XAA, serial number 38473CFX400286R
The screen freezes on a screenshot in black and white (not greyscale, but every pixel is either black or white). The picture is frozen and won't change until I turn the TV off. It will then work when I turn it back on again, but usually for a very short period of time. I used it like this for a few days but the last time, I couldn't turn the TV off with the remote and had to unplug it. I decided it was better I didn't use it any longer and now I'm on here searching for some help.
I've hit the google and I'm gathering it is either the color wheel or the digital box, but I don't want to guess wrong and be out the $$$. I could also use advice on where to purchase parts and part numbers.
In case it matters, there are about 8600 hours on the TV.
