I was looking to a backup bulb for my Samsung HLN 617W since the one I've got is a replacement and about 3 years old already. Plus, a few times it hasn't wanted to turn on - which previously was a sign of impending death.
A Toronto online retailer had the OEM bulb for $249. They allow pickup so I figured why wait and deal with UPS, etc.. I got there - no stock. I was pretty frustrated, and called Samsung Canada and found out their Official Parts distributor, Global Electronic Supplies, was only about a KM away. I drove there & bought the genuine Samsung OEM bulb, for $200
