Any one using 5.1 surround sound

Been upgrading the stereo in my pick as of late and saw with the new deck I bought I can run 5.1 surround sound. I don't watch tv in my pickup and don't know how many 5.1 surround sound cd's there are. Still I am interested simply because I love good sound.

Any opinions

I haven't had multichannel playback in a car since the mid 70's but I am a member at quadraphonicquad forum and there is some discussion of the current players there from time to time. I think you want a DVD based player to have access to surround music. DVD-A players and SACD players are available.

My car has 5.1 in it. I buy and make DVD-A's to play in it. The car is an '08 Acura TL. I swapped out the factory head unit for a Kenwood DNX1820.... sounds great!
