It was supposed to go "on line" today, but neither the A's or Giants games were available when I tried to get them this evening. I am in the SF Bay Area and should have access to these teams' games in HD.

I know NESN-HD was also supposed to be available to DiSH Network subscribers in the New England area. Did you folks get the Red Sox games in HD?

Not sure why this isn't implemented yet.

CSNBA is probably the worst RSN when it comes HD (as far as number of games being broadcast. CSNBA HD in a part time game only station. Less than 1/2 of both the Giants and the A's games are broadcast in HD on CSNBA anyway. Last nights Giants game was not broadcast in HD.

Giants TV schedule on CSNBA. (http://bayarea.comcastsportsnet.com/Schd_Giants.jsp) Notice only 1/3 of the games are in HD and last nights and todays game is not one of them?

A's TV schedule in CSNBA (http://bayarea.comcastsportsnet.com/Schd_Giants.jsp) A's have fewer games shown in HD, but a higher percentage of them (still less than 1/2).

Thanks, DK, for the info. I've bookmarked those schedules.

Comcast makes such a big deal in their advertising about how much HD they have, but don't seem to be delivering all the goods on their own sports channel.

You are right -- FSNBA was the worst Fox Sports channel and now CSNBA is continuing the tradition.

You guys definitely need two full time RSN's since you have too many teams shown on one station.

I was watching the A's Boston game tonight and saw that the FSBAHD channel did not have the game listed just a message to check back often to see my favorite teams in HD. Comcast has it stated on their website that this game is in hd but nothing on the dish hd channel. Any ideas as to the reason for this. What is the purpose of this channel if the games being broadcast in HD are not being shown?

Same thing happened with the Mets game on SNY last night. Up until yesterday, every Mets game broadcast on SNY has been shown on the "games only" HD channel 438. For some reason last night's was not shown. No game listed in the guide and the "check back..." message on the screen. Could be a good thing if you're a Mets fan though...seeing them suck in standard definition isn't nearly as frustrating. :banghead:

Any idea why they only broadcast some games in HD? Is it simply a cost-cutting thing or what? I can't fathom why they wouldn't be broadcasting in HD ALL the time if they have the technology. :banghead:

JohnnyJupiter, I agree wholeheartedly.
