Signal problems with my 622

When I had my 622 installed a few years ago my signals were in the 90's. This past week when the new HD channels came out I was surfing to see what they were like and the picture would break up as it does when you have bad weather, the weather was fine so I thought maybe my dish must have got misaligned. For example on my 622 on 119 transponder 6 my signal is 66 ( use to be mid 90's )

Tonight I checked my other reciever a 942 on the same sat and transponder and the signal was 109

I have a sevice call coming out Saturday but I was wondering if anyone has any idea what could be causing the loss of signal strength on my 622?

With the last firmware update to the 622, the signal meter was changed and all signals are lower than they were before the update. 66 sounds about right. If you aren't suffering any dropouts or signal loss I would recommend leaving it alone (cancel the appointment) as the tech could make things worse.

If you go back to the point dish screen and look near the bottom of the blue field under the Zip Code, it should read in yellow letters "Signal Meter has been modified. Select Help for details"
