Dish in Jax

Anyone here with Dish in Jax,Fl know if we get locals in HD, other than OTA. Im trying to decide between dish and direct tv and really like that dish offers an hd only package.

If you go to the Dish website and find the section for locals, it will show you whether or not HD locals are available in your area.

I took a quick look at Dish's site for that, and plugged in a bogus address on Riverside Avenue (it may actually exist for all I know). It doesn't look like Dish offers locals in HD in Jax yet. Norfolk, VA recently got their HD locals added - perhaps Jax isn't far behind.

DirecTV definitely offers the Jax locals in HD. They don't offer HD locals over here yet (neither does E* btw), and I'm fairly jealous of that. So I'm wrestling with whether to put an antenna up, or stick with Comcast until D* does offer our locals.

Yeah I checked dishes site to. hard to believe they dont offer it yet. I just find it hard to pay for the biggest package over at direct tv to get all the hd channels and have the analog channels I would never watch
