This is going to be a nice channel. The official launch of HD will be in early June. Now us Dish people see the local nationals on the 8's. I like the set up of that screen.
I do still wish I can see my own locals on the 8's in HD. We also just lost that prompt to hit select for our flimsy version of local weather on the HD channel.
Starting in early June, they will go to a new studio with all HD cameras and the channel will be in true HD almost all of the time.
If they send Jim Cantore out into the middle of a hurricane with HD cameras, we will know that this is the real deal. Coming soon will it be next winter's blizzards in HD? Thats what it's all about. These kinds of pictures would totally blow!! LOL.. Pardon me. :lol:
