Couple months ago the same thing happened to me. Got a replacement for it. last night I got home and the fan was running hard and no picture. Spent about an hour on the phone with DN and the CSR decided that it was "power failure."

The next replacement will be my third unit since October. Is this a common problem with the 622? It's really getting annoying losing all my recorded shows. :banghead:

PS - Yes the unit is in a TV stand but there is plenty of air movement. I removed the back of the stand for air flow and there is 5" of clearance on top and about 3" on each side.

sounds like bad luck for you...

I have had my 622 17 months and it was giving me the blue-screen-of-death for about 2 months every 3 days or so...

I had decided to watch the remaining 64 shows had dvr'ed then call them for a replacement, but it hasn't blue-screened in 2 months

One key note; Dish came out and installed a 2nd dish so I can get the local HD about this time, so I'm wondering if he changed something on roof that fixed my problem...

Good luck and record everything Dish does when they are there or when things go bad so you have a solid report when contacting them

I have two 622's, one for 9 months the other for 27 months (when they first came out). I never had either of them replaced. In fact with all the different receivers I have had, the 501 was the only one I ever needed to be replaced and it's replacement had to be replaced as well.
