HD Tiers? VS Channel Question.

I currently have the AT200 channels, but I really want the VS Channel.

Question.

Are there different tiers of HD that include the VS channel or is it just one package? If there are different packages of HD channels, which package has it?

Do I need to upgrade to AT250 to get the VS channel or is there another way to get it?

There are two tiers on the HD packages however if your sd package does not include an sd version of an HD channel, you do not get the HD channel either. In other words if you do not have VS in sd you cannot get it in HD. I am not sure what happens if you opt out of the AT200 and have the HD only package.

The only way to get VS/GolfHD is with AT250 or the HD Only Package.

I am a Dallas Stars fan and unfortunately the only way to see most of the games this round will be to watch them on versus. What I'll probably do is upgrade to the AT250 and downgrade my HD package to the HD essentials. This way I'll pretty much break even on my bill and though I do enjoy MHD, HDNET Movies, and UNIHD on occasion, I don't watch them or the Voom channels to justify keeping that package anyway.

Worst case scenario I will downgrade my package back to AT200 next month and be penalized $5.00 one time.

I just wish my EPG would update showing the games on versus so I can go ahead and set my timer. Maybe tomorrow morning's update.

Boy did we deserve to lose, it looked like the Ducks were more interested in fighting than playing hockey. Oh well, there's always next season.

I am surprised as anyone that the Stars got out of the first round against your Ducks much less past the Sharks as well. If you look at all the matchups thus far on paper, the Stars should have lost against both of those teams but thankfully the games are played on the ice and not paper. Conventional wisdom would say the Stars have no shot against the Red Wings, losing record against them this season and Turco is something like 1-10 against them(or worse) so I can't convince myself they will win this series. That being said for some strange reason my heart says Stars in 6, so go figure.
