Barrie area Rogers Cable

I am located in Midland and I have noticed that the ABC HD feed seems to suffer from poor signal strength. Lots of pixelation and frozen images between scenes. I thought it might be a problem on my end but my neighbor has the same problem on his hdtv. I ran the on screen diagnostics from my cable box on this particular channel and the signal strength is very strong with zero errors. So I know that everything is good coming into my house.

However if the channel is "simsubbed" like for CTV or whatever, the picture is perfect. I'm curious if this is a Rogers problem for everyone or just my area. I'm not ready to waste a half hour on the phone with Rogers if everyone has the same problem as me. BTW, its channel 527 on my box.

Thanks in advance for your time.

If you are talking about WKBW-HD it has been reported on other forums that the problem is right at the source. Rogers has reported the issue to WKBW but the broadcaster hasn't done anything to fix the issue because it seems to only affect the gear that Rogers uses to pick up the signal.

Thanks for the reply Northcountry. Hopefully it will get resolved sometime in the near future.
