I'm technologically retarded.. I just borrowed an elite 360 from my friend hoping to see how games would look, but honestly it looks pretty terrible. I have a feeling that i'm not doing it right though... there are a LOT of holes in the back of the tv, not sure what to put or to not put where.

A detailed explanation would be great... to anybody who would be nice enough to offer it.

first of all i would use the hdmi connection for optimal viewing. second, make sure that you go to the xbox menu and set it to 1080p or 1080i(whichever ur tv can handle). if ur not using the hdmi cables then make sure ur connector on the back of the xbox is set to hdtv also(there's a little switch on the box that connects ur 360 to ur tv) after that you should be smooth sailing.

what games are you gonna be trying?? i suggest call of duty 4

if you aren't using the hdmi cable then use the Green, Red, Blue , White and Red cables that come from the 360, do not use the yellow as it is not HD.
