Hello to all,
I have a CT-32HX42 Panasonic 32 inch HDTV.
I would like to hear from anyone who has the same tv to see if it would be worth getting hooked up to a set top box to view High Def. I did have the set top box right after I purchased the tv in Dec of 2002. When viewing the lower channels, i.e., 3 to 13 the colors were too dark but the high def channels were really great.
If anyone could let me know what your opinions are on this tv for the viewing of this size tv and what could be done to help with the colors if I decide to go with the set top box again.
Thank you much.

That's a nice TV and would be worth viewing HD on it. If you have a DVD player, pick up a copy of Avia or Digital Video Essentials calibration disc, follow the instructions and your set will look spectacular.

I have the 34" Panny model, purchased almost 4-years ago. As the poster above me said, use a calibration disc to help correct any problems with color, contrast, etc. I recall it took a bit of trial and error but I ended up with a really nice picture. The HD channels will always look better than the non-hd's. Friends still marvel how good the pic looks. Good luck.
