Ok so my Samsung 40" 720p went crazy and had to be repaired but it was so badly fried that it was un-repairable so now Bestbuy is giving me a $1400 credit for a new tv....
I play video games a lot! and also love movies, and I am willing to spend extra on a nice set.
I really like the Samsung LNT4071 but I am open to any suggestion,
I will also be getting a PS3 with my new TV purchase as wellm, so Blu-ray will be used as well.

it is a shame you must spend your money at BB....
with only a voucher and not a refund.
They know your money is good and won't let you go !
It may be fair, but not the best for you indeed as far
as you spending and saving elsewhere...
BB is not the best price around...
I ordered my HDTV off the web and waited for
two weeks... and very happy i did. SAVED !

Yeah a lot of people like the ideal of buying from a brick and mortar store where they can just get in the car, go there, and get instant results if something goes wrong. I could have saved a ton of funds if I had bought on the internet, but I didn't want to buy from a faceless and nameless individual. Wanted someone to complain to if my set went bad and didn't want a long wait to do so.

agree with u dog, i shelled out an extra $100 for mine at BB, just so i could have that convenience..your return, if bought online would have been a slight headache for u..not to put down u guys who do buy online..theres something for everybody.
btw, i had to return a bedding set to shop nbc about a yr ago, the return box was HUGE and heavy..had to impose on male friend who has a small truck, taught me a lesson, never buy very LARGE objects online..plus the UPS return cost me $54..bitter lesson.

Yes FEAR is a motivater for many poor souls.
Many people also buy a extended warranty...
a great FEAR moneymaker as well.
My Sony came with a 1-yr warranty.
I believe in shopping for the best prices... albeit local
stores or the internet. Low man wins.

Yes well I got the TV under cost, so thats the only reason I bought it there.
