HD or BLU players @ CC & BB (FEB 2008)

I frequently visit BB and CC websites to see if they add any new models of HD or BLU. It never changes. Regarding BB, they continue to show 9 BLU and 5 HD. Alright already. Are there any new models coming to those stores? I think I have them memorised.

Anyone know if newer models will show up on their shelves in the next month or 2??

I don't know about release dates, but I wouldn't expect any of the new players for this year until May/June at the earliest. The A3 line of Toshiba only came out in October. and I think the BD30 for Blu came out late Oct/Nov.......those are the newest of the players and they've only been a few months. If your waiting, it may be a few more months.

Yes, I am waiting. I've yet to purchase any HD player. I'm waiting to see if:

1) - HD goes away (I'm only repeating the crap I hear on this forum)
2) - BLU RAY drops prices to match HD

If (2) happens before (1), I may still wait. I'm usually not this patient when I want something so bad. It is obviously not clear what the outcome will be. (and that is a whole other subject!) This forum in general really doesn't help answer questions ;) because the two sides are so passionate about their favorite. And, since I'm more of a pessimist than optimist (at least about this), I choose to wait and not listen to all this bull. (That's easier said than done) :D

LOL...I know the feelling. Hey, I paid $310 for my HD-A2 in July and by November you could get it for $200 :(

My love for HD overpowered though and I bought a PS3 and went purple. At least now, I can enjoy it while either format lasts ;)

Well, how do you like your PS3? Forget the gaming performance for a minute. How is the HD DVD performance? How is the playback of SD DVD's?
