austin tx canadian providersrabbitt83 01-25-2008, 11:51 AM can a canadian liveing in austin tx find a provider for cbc rbinck 01-25-2008, 03:51 PM www.cbc.ca (http://www.cbc.ca) has streaming video. But it appears it can only be played if your IP address says you are in Canada. rabbitt83 01-25-2008, 07:37 PM he would like starchoice if he can get it PrinceLH 01-26-2008, 03:06 AM I know that Starchoice will work as far south as Mexico City, but Bell only works on about 1/2 of it's transponders south of the Mason/Dixon line. One of it's two birds at 91 degrees west has a more northern footprint and only half of the channels are seen further south. Try Lyngsat.com to find out which channels are available on which Expressvu bird, if you go that route. The 82 degrees west bird, with the HD, should be OK that far south, on Bell. dale124 01-26-2008, 11:34 AM Sounds like someone is missing his "Hockey Night in Canada". (why else would anyone want CBC?) DSNY FN 01-26-2008, 11:09 PM We have used our BEV dish and recievers in Florida without a problem. texasbrit 01-27-2008, 09:02 AM I remember seeing a post from someone in Austin. He was using Expressvu and had an 18in dish for 82 but needed a 30in dish to receive both sats at 91. My Canadian friend here in Dallas has a 24in dish just for 82. rabbitt83 02-05-2008, 02:26 PM Sounds like someone is missing his "Hockey Night in Canada".
